Their effluent pump range has been specifically designed to meet the needs of dairy farmer and pig producers. Effluents contain abrasive grit, hair and other soft and hard solids, all capable of causing rapid wear to pump components. To combat this, the Mono Animal Effluent pump utilises hard wearing materials and operates at low speed to minimize wear and damage and as a result, reaps the benefits of low maintenance, reliability and versatility.

The positive displacement helical rotor pumping principle is ideally suited to long distance pumping over a range of static heads. The almost constant flow rate, irrespective of head prevents “settling out” of solids in the line and maintains the required pressure at sprinklers or irrigators for efficient field watering.

Mono’s range of helical rotor pumps has built a solid reputation for toughness and reliability and the ASP range of progressive cavity pumps continue to build on this reputation. Ideal for transfer of effluent such as non-potable water and thick liquids containing soft solids and particles such as sand and silt, progressive cavity pumps are known for their efficiency and excellent self-priming and suction capabilities that ultimately save on running costs. The stainless steel and titanium construction provide exceptional corrosion resistance and longer service life and there are options for Yanmar or Kubota diesel, Honda petrol or 240V or 415V electric motors.
