Pacific National – Rail Maintenance Yard

This Project was completed through a civil plumbing company in Mackay that The Pump House has had a long standing relationship with, in fact this was the same company that we completed the RAAF Base Project and the first rail maintenance yard for the same customer at Sarena. For a lot of these Government Projects The Pump House is contacted due to their ability to design and construct the whole package required by the client, this in turn reduces cost due to better designed packages meeting all requirements. The rail yard in Nebo was designed with 7 underground pump stations, 4 transfer pump stations, 4 dual UV treatment pump sets, two dual general water pump sets and two Titan Diesel Fire Pump sets. Duty on this project ranged from 1 l/s out to 20 l/s.

The complete pump System was installed and commissioned by The Pump House tradesmen with full commissioning, electrical certificates and commissioning documentations with manuals. Complete documentation is a must when completing large Government projects.
